Overview

R.V.S. Mani became known as the whistleblower who exposed the manufacture of the "Hindu Terror" narrative from inside the Home Ministry. The articles collected in this book — published across Zee News, WION, and other portals — were written before the controversies they addressed broke into public view. Mani's stated purpose was not to claim credit for prediction but to alert readers to patterns before those patterns became crises.

The range of subjects is wide: internal security, international relations, agriculture in border states, Nikah Halala as a security concern, the Navjot Singh Siddhu-Imran Khan connection. What connects them is an analytical method — identifying the structural logic behind events that appear unrelated — and a willingness to name what that logic points toward before it is convenient to do so.

For readers tracking India's security and political landscape through primary voices rather than retrospective analysis, this collection functions as a documented record of warnings that proved accurate, and a template for how to read the pattern before the explosion.

This book brings, under one cover, a collection of articles by R V S Mani, who is well-known for his role as a whistle blower on “Hindu Terror”, that were published on different portals like zeenews.com, Wion, guru’s etc. The articles pertain to a wide range of topics, related to politics, international scenario, internal security, agriculture and also an interview. These articles were written before the issues they dealt with exploded in the face of the nation. They were actually warnings. As the author says, he did not want the bragging rights for “I said so”, but to urge the nation to look at the pattern and prevent a possible controversy/ problem for the nation in the near future.

Be it the latest news of Captain Amarinder Singh accusing that Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had wanted Navjyot Singh Siddhu to be a minister in his cabinet; the issue of ‘parali’ burning being an attempt to alter agrarian practices in a border state in order to destablise the nation; Nikah Halala being a national security issue; and several others continue to prove that what was written by Mani, came out to be true and/ or continues to be highly relevant event today.

The allegations have remained one of the more contested controversies of post-2009 Indian internal security politics, and his book is the long-form record of that account. Read the full biography Mani served at the MHA across multiple regimes and was attached to the desks dealing with Jammu and Kashmir, North-East affairs and counter-terror coordination during the late 2000s.
