About the Author
Sushila Singh, along with co-author Brijesh Singh, writes in Hindi on Naxalite movements and Maoist ideology in India. In Naxalwaad (Garuda Prakashan, 2024), the authors draw on firsthand observation of Naxal-related caste violence in Bihar, including the bloody conflict between upper-caste militias and Dalit-Adivasi forces, to trace the decline of China-sponsored Naxalism while arguing that the Maoist worldview persists and demands serious attention from the Indian state.
