Vanshika has been haunted by an emptiness she cannot name — and by dreams of a world that vanished ages ago. On her sixteenth birthday, a stranger sends her a strange gift. Before she can decide whether she wants it, an accident pulls her into contact with a past that has been searching for her across lifetimes. From that night forward, she is running: from the inhuman assassins sent by a powerful tantric, from warriors carrying technologically advanced weapons, from a masked figure who claims to protect her, and toward an obscure destination she does not yet understand, with an assembly of seers offering to prepare her for it.

Rishivanshi's Krishnanshi: Prachin Bharat ki Avishmarniya Vismritiyan is an experiment in form as much as a novel — it fuses meticulous research into ancient Indian history with the momentum of a contemporary action narrative. The facts woven into the story are those that mainstream historians have ignored or dismissed: evidence of an advanced civilisation in ancient India that most of us know almost nothing about. The novel makes the argument that academic tradition has rendered us strangers to our own past.
Krishnanshi moves between Vanshika's college world and the gurukul that will train her for her unknown purpose, threading romance, humour, and genuine danger through a story that is also, at its core, an act of historical recovery.
