Dr. Sabareesh.P.A. has completed his Ph.D. at the Centre for Studies in Science Policy, School of Social Sciences, JNU, New Delhi. His multidisciplinary academic research at the JNU included multidisciplinary areas of traditional medicinal knowledge, intellectual property rights and Indian philosophy of science with related research publications. He has earlier worked as a consultant with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ministry of Earth Sciences and Vigyan Bharati (VIBHA). Dr. Sabareesh has as a student activist in JNU contested for the position of General Secretary in the JNU Students Union-2019 elections. Sabareesh's ancestral roots belong to Rajahmundry of the East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. He was born in Rajapalayam in Tamil Nadu and educated in Kerala and Karnataka. He can speak multiple languages
