Asmita Sapre Ranganathan

About the Author

Asmita Sapre Ranganathan grew up in Mumbai, where she studied Medicine. After she moved to Pittsburgh with her husband and daughter, she gave up her career as a pathologist and explored her interests: art, language, writing, and poetry. She is a member of the Pittsburgh Poetry Society, which promotes the writing and appreciation of poetry. She does freelance illustrations for books and magazines. She studied Sanskrit through Samskrita Bharati USA, and she continues to learn and teach this rich language. She now lives in Cincinnati.
